Meet the new members of the Education Foundation.

Brett Eidson is a CHS Graduate of the class of 2000.  While in high school, Brett participated in many activities and was a 1999 State Champion Camdenton Laker Football team member. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. He has worked as a Funeral Director/Embalmer at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton for 18 years and has served as the C.O.O and General Manager for the last 11 years.  He also serves as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Camdenton and is active on various boards within Camden County.  His wife, Naomi Eidson, is also a CHS Graduate in the Class of 2000 and works at Oak Ridge Intermediate and Camdenton Middle School.  They have two children: Katie, class of 2026, and Andy, class of 2029.  We are all proud to be Lakers and are excited for the future of Camdenton R-III School District!    

Larissa Emory is a fairly recent addition to the Laker community, and is proud to call Montreal home. She works for the Office of Academic Affiliations, Veterans Health Administration (DC-based), overseeing all marketing and social media campaigns, while responsible for the management of external stakeholder relationships, including c-suite members of medical schools/professional organizations across the country and congressional/legislative offices.
 
Ms. Emory is the Director of the Camdenton Lakers Youth Football League - Lil Hogs, a non-profit organization that promotes football and cheer for grades kindergarten through 6th grade. She is also the Vice President and a founding member of the Lake Area Science Engineering and Robotics (LASER) Booster Club for the Camdenton school district. As a graduate of the United States Military Academy - West Point, Ms. Emory is part of the field force admissions team assisting area high school students with the Service Academy admissions process. She is also a member of American Corporate Partners and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
 
Ms. Emory has a Bachelor of Science in Law and Nuclear Engineering, and a Master of Science in Criminal and Judicial Administration. Her professional certifications include Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP) from the Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the PMI.
 
Ms. Emory enjoys lake life with her husband, Kevin, and three boys - Ben, CJ, and Dean.

Jacob Neusche is honored to serve his first term on the Education Foundation. He has spent the last 15 years in Finance, currently a Vice President at a local community bank. He earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He is also serving his first term on the Camdenton School Board as Treasurer. Jacob is a Camdenton Laker graduate, a proud Football and Speech and Debate Alumni, a passionate Laker parent to Taylor and Luke, and a supportive spouse of a Camdenton School Counselor, Cory.

Troy Risner is excited to serve as a member of the Education Foundation Board representing the Camdenton School Board. He is serving his 3rd year on the Camdenton School Board as Board Vice-President. Mr. Risner is a native of the Lake of the Ozarks area and a Camdenton graduate (class of 1988). Mr. Risner has served hundreds of hours in volunteer work for the Camdenton School district since 2007. For the past 7 years, he has assisted the school as the Lead Auditorium Technician. Mr. Risner’s electronics background and problem-solving skills have been essential for saving district funds for the Fine Arts departments and improving the community's experience in our school’s theaters.


Mr. Risner has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with 27 years of experience as an Engineer in the semiconductor industry. He is a world traveler and has been to multiple countries throughout Europe and Asia. With his involvement in the high-tech industry, his company has provided over $30,000 in grants to our school’s Robotics team.


Mr. Risner and his wife, Jennifer, have five children. All of them have graduated from Camdenton recently with three currently in college. Several of you may know Mr. Risner through his family heritage at the Lake of the Ozarks. He is a 7th generation resident at the Lake. His Risner side was well known for their involvement in their local radio businesses. His mother’s side (grandparents Buford and AnnaMae Foster) were pioneers in promoting tourism of the lake area back in the 1950s.


Mr. Risner is very proud to serve, as he is the nephew of Nikki Foster who was one of the founding members of the Education Foundation.
