Hello! 

My name is Lauren Moriearty. This is my 5th year in education, my 5th year with the Camdenton R-III district, and my 4th year at the high school. This year I will be teaching Accelerated Algebra 2, PLTW - Principles of Engineering, PLTW - Intro to Engineering and Design, and Dual Credit Statistics -- all of which will be using Canvas for dispersing information and homework collection. 

 

I, myself, graduated from Camdenton High School in 2010. Afterward, I headed off to Drury University to run cross country and track, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. After Drury, I attended the University of Arkansas (woo pig) and earned a Master's degree in Statistics and Analytics with a focus in business analytics. It was during my time at the University of Arkansas that I began working my full-time corporate job as a business process analyst. I traveled the country for a couple of years working in the corporate data analysis world for Dairy Farmer's of America, but quickly realized it wasn't for me. I got my teaching certificate, packed up, moved back to the lake, and the rest is history. :)

 

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ryan Moriearty, and we have three super awesome German Shepherd Dogs - Lola, Walter, and Paco.

I am also the head Cross Country coach. I love to run, and love to share my love of running with my athletes and students. 

I am so excited to get this year going!
