Curriculum at Camdenton Middle and High School is written locally and aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards. Teachers in each content area have identified common essential standards, based on the work of Doug Reeves.  Essential standards address readiness, preparing students for the next level of learning, have leverage, or value in multiple disciplines, and have endurance, or value for life.  By identifying these essential learning standards, teachers are better able to design curriculum that is deep and meaningful to the students in their classroom.
