Recently, some questions and concerns have been raised regarding the Get The Lead Out Initiative and our district's water testing results. Lead Water Testing Plan
- Prior to December 1, 2023, an inventory of water outlets used for drinking/cooking was created. This inventory identified 350 water outlets across the district to be scheduled for testing.
- As of December 12, 2023 district officials began the process of seeking proposals for lead water testing of the identified outlets. Proposals require all testing to be performed prior to August 1, 2024.
- February 23rd-24th, 2024, initial testing was conducted.
- On April 5th, 2024, initial testing results were reviewed.
- April 10th, 2024, a second round of testing was conducted for all outlets testing above the 5 ppb threshold on the initial test results.
