3rd Grade at HDE would love to invite you to our Market Day, March 18th. Each year after our Economics unit we do a service learning project called Market Day. Students create products to sell at Market Day. We exchange real money for our economic currency and all the money we receive gets donated to a charity the students choose. This year our students chose to donate the money to N.E.G.U. (Never Ever Give Up). They help encourage children to keep fighting against cancer and never give up. This charity is very near and dear to our hearts because one of our 3rd Grade students is "fighting" leukemia. We would love it if you could come and experience our Market Day with us. Attached is a flyer about when and where Market Day will be held. We can't wait to see you.
