On September 8, 2021, Maggie Libby, a first-grade teacher in Dogwood Elementary School of Camdenton R-III School District, received $500 as one of nine classroom grants given in MRTA’s Region 7 area.  The grant is titled “Foundational Skill Manipulatives” for her first-grade students to help improve reading skills.

On September 9, 2021, Jennifer Gladbach was presented a Missouri Retired Teachers Foundation Grant at Camdenton High School in her classroom.  Several were in attendance as she was awarded the $500 for her grant, “Calculator Equity in the High School Math Classroom,” which would provide scientific calculators for an entire class so everyone would be working on the same calculator each day.
